They provide services like illness stabilization, life skills training, housing assistance, employment support, and community integration, with staff often having personal experiences with mental illness.

Clients at La Casa Mental Health Rehabilitation Center have achieved an impressive milestone, creating and publishing the inaugural issue of 鈥淟a Casa Legacy,鈥� their own client-driven newsletter. The groundbreaking first issue features an interview with 麻花色情片 President and CEO Anne Bakar, demonstrating the clients鈥� initiative, creativity, and dedication to sharing their community鈥檚 story.

The newsletter represents a remarkable client success, showcasing La Casa residents鈥� skills, collaboration, and voice. From conducting interviews to designing and assembling the publication, clients took ownership of the entire process, creating something meaningful for their community.

A huge acknowledgment goes to the La Casa Rehabilitation Department, which supported clients throughout the entire process. Their guidance helped clients develop the skills and confidence needed to bring this vision to life while maintaining client leadership of the project.

鈥淟a Casa Legacy鈥� reflects La Casa鈥檚 recovery-centered approach, empowering clients to make choices, develop skills, and contribute to their community in meaningful ways. This inaugural issue marks the beginning of an exciting new tradition of client expression and storytelling.

Lagos: A 16-bed facility providing 24/7 support with a focus on stabilizing individuals in acute crisis as an alternative to hospitalization.

Riverside Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC): A 79-bed subacute residential program offering long-term mental health recovery services in a secure environment aimed at transitioning clients to lower levels of care.

Riverside Restorative Transformation Center (RTC): A 30-bed voluntary program for adults found incompetent to stand trial or who have severe mental illness, providing support to avoid locked treatment settings.

Western Riverside Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU): A 12-chair facility delivering immediate crisis support through a multidisciplinary team, focusing on harm-reduction techniques and connecting individuals to community resources.

Villa Fairmont Mental Health Rehabilitation Center held its second Prevocational Job Fair, providing clients with valuable experience preparing for employment in the community. The rehabilitation department created a meaningful event that excited clients and prepared them for the work environment.

The job fair featured consent-to-photograph forms, assistance with completing job applications, on-the-spot interviews with rehab staff, and healthy snacks after interviews. Positions currently offered include Villa Announcer, Plant Care Worker, Outdoor Gardening, Document Organizer, Telephone Cleaner, Book/Video Librarian, and Clothing Care Assistant.

Rehab staff serve as interviewers and may recommend positions to clients beyond what they applied for, making the experience both meaningful and realistic. At the end of a four-week work course, clients are celebrated with an awards ceremony where they receive a certificate of completion and a special non-monetary gift.

The prevocational job fair represents another important step in the recovery journey, helping clients build skills, confidence, and preparation for community employment. Congratulations to the rehabilitation department for making this event a success and creating such a valuable experience for Villa Fairmont clients!

麻花色情片 LA JIMHCS (Justice Involved Mental Health Community Services) provides wraparound services based on the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model. The multidisciplinary team comprises case managers, peer mentors, clinicians, team leads, prescribers, and a clinical director, who create a supportive environment tailored to each member鈥檚 needs, hopes, and dreams, while connecting them to community resources for ongoing recovery.

麻花色情片 is proud to announce that Dr. Traci Powell, Vice President and Chief Professional Practice Officer, has been elected by the APA Board of Trustees, effective January 1, 2026.

This honor places Dr. Powell among other leading professionals in the field and recognizes exceptional contributions to psychiatry. Fellowship in the APA is awarded to psychiatrists who have demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, teaching, research, and service.

Dr. Powell will be celebrated at the Convocation of Distinguished Fellows on Monday, May 18, 2026, during the APA Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California. The ceremony will honor the achievements of the 2026 class of Fellows, and Dr. Powell will be presented with the official lapel pin recognizing this distinction.

As VP and Chief Professional Practice Officer at 麻花色情片, Dr. Powell plays a vital role in guiding clinical excellence across the organization. This recognition reflects a commitment to advancing psychiatric care and supporting the behavioral health field.

RavenMan, La Paz Resident

One year ago, a resident arrived at La Paz Geropsychiatric Center feeling lost to himself and to the world. Today, he has been transformed and reborn, self-confident and enthusiastic about life. He has become the proud RavenMan, embracing the metaphor of the mystical spiritual bird revered by many religions for its wit and wisdom. Rising from the ashes, he has been granted a new life.

His sister and mother share their gratitude for his journey:

鈥�This is a special appreciation letter to all those who made it possible!!! One year ago, my brother, RavenMan, was a lost man!! Lost to himself!! Lost to the world!! Today I saw him transformed and reborn, self-confident and enthusiastic about life!! He has become the proud RavenMan, with a metaphor to the mystical, spiritual bird revered by many religions for its wit and wisdom. Rising from the ashes, he has been granted a new life by the creator!! Oh yes!! Miracles are real!! This one happened at the La Paz GeroPsychiatric Center. Thurston T-CAT and Mason T-CAT offer Transitional Community Assertive Treatment (TCAT) in Washington鈥檚 Thurston and Mason counties. Developed by 麻花色情片 with community input, these programs address the needs of individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges or transitioning in care levels. Staff are trained to navigate local systems of care, offering essential services that support recovery.

麻花色情片 recently concluded its December session of New Manager Orientation (NMO), a two鈥慸ay program designed to help new leaders with the tools and strategies they need to manage 麻花色情片 operations successfully. Nearly 50 new managers from across the 麻花色情片 family participated, engaging with the Executive Team, networking with peers, and deepening their understanding of 麻花色情片鈥檚 culture and values. The evening reception on Day 1 was a highlight, encouraging connections and cross鈥憄rogram collaboration.

The agenda featured a robust lineup of presentations and discussions. Day 1 began with a leadership discussion led by Sue Brenner, Director of Learning and Leadership Development, followed by a welcome address from President and CEO Anne Bakar. Managers then explored key business areas, including Finance with , Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Operations with , Senior Vice President and Chief Program Operations Officer, Development with , Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer, and Information Systems with , Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, and Annette Ruah, Manager Infrastructure Engineering, before closing the day with a networking reception.

Day 2 continued with sessions on Human Resources and CHEI with Mickey Blanks, Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer, Medical with Traci Powell, Vice President and Chief Professional Practice Officer, Compliance with Lorraina Clayton, Corporate Compliance Officer, and Communications with Shea McGuier, Senior Director of Communications, and concluded with an application exercise and feedback session to help solidify learning.

New Manager Orientation remains a cornerstone of leadership development at 麻花色情片. By grounding new leaders in business fundamentals, operational priorities, and cultural values, and by connecting them directly with executive leadership and each other, NMO builds confidence, fosters collaboration, and strengthens 麻花色情片鈥檚 ability to help clients succeed. Last November, 麻花色情片鈥檚 Los Angeles community leaders had the privilege of visiting the and meeting its founder, , brother of 麻花色情片's dear late CMO, Dr. Steve Wilson, the visionary behind 麻花色情片鈥檚 RCCS.

It鈥檚 impossible to fully describe this museum, which filmmaker Werner Herzog once called 鈥渙ne of the wonders of the world.鈥� From intricate miniatures to real-life circus characters, Renaissance instruments handcrafted by David, and even a room dedicated to American RV culture, the experience was unforgettable. Among the exhibits, the team saw the first Narcan (Naloxone), once used as an anti-love potion, and the earliest lithium salts used to treat manic episodes.

After exploring, the group enjoyed tea in the rooftop garden and spoke with David about his brother鈥檚 legacy, RCCS, and the fascinating intersections between art, science, and mental health. David shared how deeply moved he was by the recent ceremony renaming 麻花色情片鈥檚 Gladman program name to Steve Wilson Recovery Center.

鈥淚 always thought of RCCS as my brother鈥檚 thing. I didn鈥檛 realize it would live beyond him and continue changing lives,鈥� shared David.

The visit provided a meaningful opportunity to honor Dr. Steve Wilson鈥檚 legacy while experiencing the wonder of a place where art, science, and humanity intersect. If you鈥檙e ever in Los Angeles, the Museum of Jurassic Technology is a must-visit destination that celebrates the curiosity and connection that defined Dr. Wilson鈥檚 approach to mental healthcare.

The TeleClinician team provides remote clinical support to 麻花色情片 programs across the organization, delivering essential behavioral health services through telehealth technology. The team works virtually to ensure programs have access to clinical expertise and support.

La Luna ACT provides multidisciplinary crisis support through clinicians, psychiatric prescribers, nursing staff, and peer specialists, emphasizing choice-making skills and harm-reduction techniques to help individuals stabilize symptoms and connect with community resources.

Vida ACT offers a multidisciplinary team that includes a nurse practitioner, a licensed team lead, a peer recovery coach, and case managers with specialties in housing, education, employment, and substance use, providing advocacy for individuals with criminal justice contacts.

IHOT (In-Home Outreach Team) provides community-based support services directly in individuals鈥� homes.

offers time-limited, community-based, holistic support to individuals who meet CARE criteria under California鈥檚 Community, Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment Act, utilizing a person-centered approach to address complex needs.

helps unhoused individuals with severe mental illness engage with and access support, reaching out to folks who might otherwise be unserved to create meaningful entry into care.

San Diego AOT provides court-ordered outpatient services to adults with serious mental illness under Laura鈥檚 Law through a multidisciplinary team anchored in recovery principles.

麻花色情片's Sutter-Yuba programs include a Full Service Partnership (FSP) and two Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) locations, operating as a boutique program providing intimate, uniquely tailored services to members of Sutter-Yuba counties.

SHINE FSP uses the Assertive Community Treatment model with a multidisciplinary team, including peer specialists and personal service coordinators experienced in mental health and substance use disorders. The team offers personalized services in a supportive environment that addresses the needs and goals of its members.

New Haven PSH provides onsite support and case management for 19 units in Yuba City, focusing on adults facing homelessness and serious mental health issues. Services include case management, resource linkage, behavioral health coordination, crisis intervention, housing stabilization, and skill-building for independent living.

The longer-term residential facility provides individualized recovery planning, daily living support, crisis intervention, and medical assistance in a voluntary setting where residents have increased control and choice to support community reintegration.
